Not leather

Years ago I bought a Dockers LEATHER braided belt which I am still using. After 20 some years of constant use it is starting to show its age. I thought I would get a new Dockers leather braided belt. My fault I should have looked a little closer or maybe the price should have told me that this belt would not be made of leather. It is plastic. Disappointed. It will probably end up in the Goodwill bin.

Poor Design - Will not last

I recently purchased this belt as I liked the design. However, using it less than a month I had the same problem others have reported - that is, they don't last. The holes that the belt prong goes through tear out. After it tears out, it appears that the "core" of the belt is made of heavy cardboard that tears easily.

Good quality belt

I needed a shorter belt after losing some weight. This braided belt fits my needs perfectly. Basically a casual belt bit looks fine with business pants also. These braided belts really let you fine tune your fit because the holes are much closer together than a traditional belt where the holes are about an inch apart. I often felt like my fit was in between the existing holes. I ordered this belt in black but plan to get a brown one as well.

Redesigned prong holes are an absolute failure

These braided belts were great when they had a solid end for the prong holes. Now the prong holes are in the weave, which fails because the leather strips cannot take the pressure when the prong is put through the belt. A complete failure of the redesign!
