I was very pleased with the look and feel of this shoe. I've bought shoes from Dockers in the past. Some have been wonderful and others have been very heavy. It's hard to know in advance which you're getting, but these are awesom.

Vinyl/PVC shoe with flimsy polyester lining. Has "synthetic" squeak when walking. I'll only wear out the lining quickly, anyway. In store return was pleasant.
